Solitary, no arm to hold me,
In no heart , I found myself to be!
Wounded and hurt , I've been for years,
With no soul, noticing my tears!
Joy and brightness spread on that day,

Dark Prince
The screens danced with grace,
The touch of air enriched my face!
Through the window pane I gazed,
Valiant and strong, his shadow swayed!!
Down my veins , I felt the shiver,
The urge, the passion to surrender!
The eyes- sharp and crystal clear,
A gateway to what lied under!!
A heart, soft , yet to be discovered,
A mind, sharpened , trained at Harvard!
Compassion intertwined with dedication,
Virtued coupled with trendy fashion!!
A sculpture i sat adoring,
Be it autumn , summer or spring!
I looked, shocked at the shadow moving,
Shattered , as another hand I saw it hoding!
Bid adieu, wished them to succeed,
As i lay , sorrow deeply buried!!

Want To Be A Millionaire....
Written originally somtime in december 2005...
What a difference the seven digits would make.
Fit to relinquish my job and live like a queen,
Shall visit the paradise that i've never seen!
Scaling the mountains enveloped with snow,
Skiing and rowing as the streams flow,
A palace with a garden i conspire to buy,
An air-plane i'll get and learn to fly!
Eyes will be blinded by the diamond ring shine,
What a lovely life !! Authority is mine!
But wait a minute!!
Places I'll travel, leaving friends at bay,
The portrait of life will be shaded gray,
So i've decided not to leave my job,
the bubbly life I relish with my mob!
Why am I planning for a party in the cold,
When ice and snow scare me as 'm old,
In a rich man's castle ,I'll be out of place,
A solitary girl needn't have that extra space!
"To zoom through the clouds with the plane's light"
Funny! acrophobia, I have a fear for height!
Deriving happiness out of a million is a million dollar question!
"rags to riches"-cindrella to princes is a part of fiction!!
Live every moment! Remember the tale of Midas, the king!
You'll be remembered not by the penny but by the joy you bring!!

why do we....
Is it because the west reigns as the supreme or is it because of "We lacking the confidence in us"??The generation today apes the west, believes in the "The science of theirs" while demeaning the "philosophy of ours".
It takes a Frijof Capra to acknowledge hinduism and eastern mysticism , the parallels it has with physics!!
Philosophy once proved is science is what i believe in and it can be substantiated with a multitude of examples.
It is in our hindu culture is to light a lamp , which symbolizes knowledge and well being. Why is it then we blow off a candle before cutting a birthday cake?? aren't we moving into darkness - the representation of all evil?? give it a thought!!!
The idol worship - not a lot of people realize the power it has. An easy means to improve concentration by meditating , idols were generally made out of mud which dissolves immediately in water and can also be used as decorative items!! Then why do people today go in for dolls made of plaster of paris?? can't we see the harm??
Removal of slippers before entering the house when contrasted with the western tradition of wearing slippers!! Like how we cannot construct a house of wood and they of concrete, the theory applied to every habit!! Geography does determine the characteristic. They survive in extreme cold conditions so are covered fully always.But India, with the amount of dirt in air, germs everywhere, and severe sweat ,why carry them with your slippers??
Each and every activity that has been set forth as a tradition by our forefathers has a reaon, one need not believe in it per se, but can atleast give it a thought!! Every practice has a scientific explantion!! try analysing and you'll realise their value!!!
